'Nathaniel' is a brilliant television show.
It has consistently topped ratings throughout its run.
It's the story of an angel sent on earth.
Pope Francis said:
"Listen to your guardian angel's advice."
1. Nathaniel has many concrete lessons, but never preachy.
2. This television show has lots of wisdom, theology and philosophy, but doesn't sound elite.
3. It's full of truth, although it's a fantasy.
4. Here we reach and touch heaven, although we are still alive.
5. We experience the reality of angels, although it is just a television show.
6. The message of 'Laudato Si' is so clear although 'Nathaniel' was first aired 34 days before the encyclical was released.
7. The last message of Nathaniel on 25th September is the same concluding message of Pope Francis on 27th September in America: "The family is the best gift from God".
8. The Holy Spirit works in the 79-year old Pope as well as in the eight-year old Marco Masa. Both have the mission to proclaim the message of salvation.

Nathaniel really gives you the reason to smile, the obvious reasons to pray and the urgent need to love. Thank you Nathaniel!
The obvious truths in 'Nathaniel':
# 1. In love, there is 'Forever'.
Rachel and Paul's marriage was ordained by God from the very beginning. There were problems because of the lack of maturity in Paul, and Rachel's incapability to forgive and let go, but through the help of their son, the communion of minds and hearts was restored.
The Church teaches that there is no divorce in the Catholic Church, ABS-CBN attested it.
Martha, the lawyer of Paul in AVL Corporation, worked for the annulment of Paul's marriage with Rachel by tampering the original marriage documents. From the time of 'marriage' of Martha to Paul, endless problems came until the truth came out that Martha was only after Paul's properties to take revenge.
A summary of the lessons on critical analysis of media:
+ + + = +
- + - = +
- + + = -
I learned this from Sr. Clothilde de las Llagas (Daughter of St. Paul) in 1992. Fr. Nic, S.J. confirmed it during our classes in 1996 on "Audio-Visuals in Evangelization" at Loyola House of Studies - Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City. The same principle was attested during the Catholic Journalists Congress in Rome in 2010 which I attended.
# 2. Angels are sent from heaven to light and guard, to rule and guide.

I was lost in Makati last June. I couldn't figure out where St. Paul's road was because of the many changes of routes. As I was so much in a hurry and had no time to ask for direction, I simply prayed to my guardian angel. 'Nathaniel' reminded me of the angel who is always with me.
# 3. Little children are angels: adoption is the best option.
Nathaniel was adopted.
https://twitter.com/abscbnstore/status/606014169020653569Nathaniel said that he learned many things in life, and that his best experience on earth is having a family.
Beth and Abner adopted three children and one of them is Nathaniel. Their family is so wholesome. They have undergone many trials, but they never lost hope. The whole family helped Nathaniel accomplish his mission.
# 4. Life is short.
It took time to see the conversion of AVL (Paul's mother), the reconciliation of Paul and Rachel, and the defeat of Gustavo/Ramon but it all happened, and now everything is over. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/entertainment/09/25/15/nathaniel-air-finale-episode
# 5. Life is not only about money.
As Pope Francis said, "Humans must not be slaves to the economy and finance".
# 6. There is something good in every person.
That's what Nathaniel and Pope Francis were always saying.
# 7. Media can be used for evangelization.
Connie Reyes who acted as AVL revealed that she was compelled to change. http://www.philstar.com/entertainment/2015/04/20/1445618/angel-stories-lessons-life
# 8. Prayer is power.
"... The heavy finale of 'Nathaniel' reminds of the importance of stern faith and the power of a fervent prayer... 'Nathaniel' succeeded in a straight-forward manner!"

I hope to have the intelligence, eloquence, and creativity of those people who crafted 'Nathaniel'-- able to integrate today's scenario with the eternal values of the Gospel-- the potential for socio-cultural change. https://www.facebook.com/SrAthens, http://www.pinoytambayantv.info/abs-cbn/nathaniel/nathaniel-august-25-2015-replay/
